LED illuminants manufactured in-house - Quality made by RIDI

At its main factory in Jungingen in southern Germany, RIDI develops and produces LED illuminants for RIDI luminaires. The high aspiration for efficiency, quality and sustainability was the motivation to develop our own LED illuminants. The high production depth allows the implementation of modified LED illuminants and thereby an optimal interaction between illuminant and electronic ballasts for the best-possible light output.

The result is maximum efficiency that remains unrivalled by retrofit solutions.

The LED TUBES developed and produced by RIDI are self-contained, tool-free and replaceable LED illuminants. The LED TUBEs are geared, in the longitudinal dimensions and light currents, to the conventional T16 (HE/HO) und T26 fluorescent tubes and are used in correspondingly-prepared luminaires. In contrast to LED retrofit illuminants, RIDI LED TUBEs are operated by their own drivers and associated mechanical and electrical mounting systems, and hence achieve outstanding system efficiency. RIDI LED TUBEs can be integrated into any light management systems, in special versions also with Tunable White or RGB control. All LED TUBEs are available as standard in light colours 830, 840 and 865. RIDI offers various purpose-made designs in the type and light technology of LED TUBEs:

RIDI-TUBE

is an LED illuminant developed and produced by RIDI with an innovative base fitting system for simple, tool-less lamp changing. With a 20 mm diameter it looks very similar to a fluorescent lamp. However, it is should not be confused with retrofit solutions. RIDI-TUBES are used exclusively in RIDI brand luminaires.

Variants

RIDI-TUBES are equipped with clear, satin-finished or opal plastic covers and in colour temperatures 3,000, 4,000 or 6,500 Kelvin. Colour repeatability index Ra >= 80.

Base fitting system

The innovative base fitting system allows the RIDI-TUBE to be changed just as easily as conventional T16 or T26 lamps. It cannot be operated in luminaires for conventional illuminants and is hence mechanically protected and not compatible with base fitting systems for fluorescent lamps.

Use

Almost all luminaire types from RIDI and elements of the RIDI LINIA continuous lighting system are available as an LED version for RIDI-TUBES. They can be recognised by the "-R" in the luminaire name (e.g. F-LINE-R). The luminaires are supplied without illuminant, RIDI-TUBES have to be ordered separately.

L-TUBE

is an LED illuminant developed and produced by RIDI with a semi-circular cross-section, which is installed using fastening clips and a socket/plug system. For optimum thermal management, circuit boards operated by a separate LED converter are fully pressed onto the rigid aluminium base profile. The lamp is changed without tools

L-TUBE B

is a variant of the L-TUBE which, due to its ball impact-resistant snap-in connection system, is used primarily in RIDI industrial luminaires and luminaires for sports halls. It is installed in the factory and included in the scope of delivery of the luminaires.

Variants

Depending on illumination requirement, L-TUBES are equipped with clear, satin-finished or opal plastic covers. They are available with colour temperatures 3,000, 4,000 or 6,500 Kelvin. Colour repeatability index Ra >= 80.

Accessories

The L-TUBE comes with external LED converters and clips for replaceable mounting to floors or walls. That makes it the all-rounder for fantastic illumination.

Use

The L-TUBE B is installed in the factory for a multitude of industrial and sports hall luminaires. They can be recognised by the "-L" in the luminaire name (e.g. SHL-L).

With fastening clips and external converter, the L-TUBE is suitable for cove lighting and backlit elements.

L-TUBE F

is an LED illuminant developed and produced by RIDI with integrated linear lenses. The light is controlled by the illuminant itself. The L-Tube F with rectangular cross-section is installed using fastening clips and a socket/plug system. For optimum thermal behaviour and optimised efficiency, the circuit boards are fully pressed onto the rigid aluminium base profile. The lamp is changed without tools

L-TUBE BF

is a variant of the L-TUBE F and is fastened using a ball impact-resistant snap-in connection system. It is used primarily in RIDI industrial luminaires, installed in the factory and included in the scope of delivery of the luminaires.

Variants

The following linear lenses are available: narrow beaming, wide beaming, extremely narrow beaming, asymmetric, double-asymmetric or diffusion beaming.

The L-TUBE F is available as standard in colour temperatures 3,000, 4,000 or 6,500 Kelvin. Colour repeatability index Ra >= 80.

Accessories

The L-TUBE-F comes with external LED converters and clips for replaceable mounting to floors or walls. This makes it the light tool for bright ideas.

use

The L-TUBE F is installed in the factory in RIDI industrial luminaires. It is recognised by the ending "-LF" for the luminaire model concerned (e.g. IHLS-LF).

With fastening clips and external converter, the L-TUBE-F is suited for cove lighting and backlit elements. Thanks to its linear lenses, various refraction angles are possible.
