The RIDI LYV profile system harmonises design, functionality, and efficiency. Its reduced design language and high-quality aluminum housing give the system a timeless aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into various spatial concepts. Low-glare versions with UGR ≤ 19 ensure high visual comfort at screen-based workstations and support focused work in offices and educational facilities.

The system is available in two profile widths and practical standard lengths, and can also be individually configured. This enables customised lighting solutions with maximum planning freedom – from delicate light lines to striking lighting structures, precisely tailored to architectural conditions. Form-fitting connections ensure clean, continuous lighting structures without visible interruptions. RIDI LYV is available as a suspended version with direct or direct/indirect light distribution, as well as surface-mounted and recessed versions, and impresses with it’s simple installation.

Intelligent lighting control further enhances the flexibility of RIDI LYV. Whether wired via DALI-2 or wireless via Bluetooth with Casambi or Silvair – lighting can be controlled as required, depending on presence and daylight. This increases user comfort, reduces energy consumption, and creates the foundation for future-proof, adaptive lighting concepts.

RIDI LYV is available in two profile widths: 43 mm for delicate, subtle light lines and 67 mm for more striking accents with a stronger presence in space. Both variants can be used flexibly and offer maximum design freedom in lighting planning.

RIDI LYV is available with four optics:

• Multilens standard reflector, matte black, UGR ≤16 (M4S)
• Cover with opal diffuser (O)
• Microprismatic cover with opal diffuser (MPO)
• Microprismatic cover without opal diffuser, UGR ≤19 (MPS)

They are specifically tailored to different requirements – from homogeneous light distribution to high glare control for screen-based workstations. This allows light quality, visual comfort, and spatial effect to be precisely matched to use and architecture.

The indirect component of the RIDI LYV suspended luminaire evenly illuminates ceiling surfaces, reduces contrasts, and enhances the spatial effect. This creates a pleasant lighting atmosphere and high visual comfort in the working environment.

The RIDI LYV portfolio includes individually configurable constructions for free geometries and customised light lines, as well as complete luminaires in selected standard lengths.

RIDI LYV enables versatile lighting structures within a modular profile system. Continuously illuminated corner segments and internal mechanical connectors enable form-fitting transitions as well as homogeneous, continuous light lines without visible interruptions. This allows different lighting geometries to be precisely planned and design concepts to be consistently implemented. On-site installation is efficient and installation-friendly: mount the profile, establish the power connection, and snap in the luminaire insert.

APCON EASY BLE and APCON INDIVIDUAL sensor modules enable presence- and daylight-dependent lighting control. Using the APCON EASY BLE Hybridbox module, LYV luminaire modules can be connected directly and controlled together wirelessly or combined with APCON EASY BLE sensor modules. The sensor modules as the luminaire modules are available in white, silver, and black, and in the 43 mm and 67 mm profile widths.

Bluetooth wireless

If no separate bus lines for lighting control are planned or possible, APCON EASY BLE offers a flexible wireless solution. The system is based on two established standards that can be selected: Casambi or Silvair.

Wired (DALI-2)

For conventional installations, APCON INDIVIDUAL provides a wired lighting control solution according to the DALI-2 standard, which integrates seamlessly into the building’s electrical installation.

The RIDI LYV planning service unlocks the full diversity of the modular profile system and makes the planning process efficient and targeted. Based on individual requirements, our experts develop continuous light lines as well as complex geometries – including L, U, or Z shapes and closed rectangles in customised dimensions. Continuously illuminated corners are an integral part of the concept.
